Excursions

The following Excursions are scheduled during the Forbes BOG Muster.  Please register your interest to attend on the clipboards in Ben Hall Shears when you register for the Muster (on arrival).

Eugowra

  • Karana Kelpies – Kelpie training and demonstration at the Eugowra Showground – Sat 14th
  • Lunch at Eugowra (Bowlo, Pub, Fat Parcel Cafe) – Sat 14th
  • Eugowra Show – Fri 20th & Sat 21st.

Parkes 

  • CSIRO Parkes Observatory – Includes Astronomy and Space Science Exhibition (free) and 3D Theatre ($8 – 3O min) – Friday 20th

Lachlan River

  • Sculptures Down the Lachlan – a 103km self guided excursion northwest along the Lachlan Valley Hwy to Condobolin to view 13 of the 25 sculptures in the series. – Wed 18th
  • Lunch at Condoblin – Condobolin RSL’s Lachlan Bistro (Booking made for 100). – Wed 18th
