Carol and I both grew up in country NSW before moving to Sydney. Our introduction to outback travel was in 2000. We purchased a camper trailer, attended a 4WD course and in 2002, we packed up 2 small children and 4 grandparents and headed off on a 3 month 20,000km trip through remote Central Australia and the Kimberley. On return, we moved to acreage and put travel largely on hold due to family and work commitments. As retirement approached we started planning life after work. We purchased our 2010 Bushtracker in 2018. Our First Muster was Corryong in 2022 followed by a Mini Muster at Gumma, we were hooked! Our backgrounds are IT and training and I’m also a qualified 4WD instructor. We have 2 adult girls but no grandchildren yet and are based in Lake Macquarie, NSW. We travel with our bikes, kayaks, tennis racquets and LOVE all sports, playing and spectating. We have been warmly welcomed at the BOG musters and blown away by the activities, camaraderie and passion of the attendees. The work the committee have and continue to invest in this unique group is amazing and as such we are keen to contribute to continuing the tradition
